When I wanted to start my first web site, the best competition was on Christmas break, so wetpaint got my business.

Any ads that pop up here are totally under the control of my web host.

This site was originally called "Data Integration". I have changed that to reflect the umbrella name I use for my public work.

As of this writing I am 55 years old. Many people call a lifetime a "journey" or a "path" but that's too head-in-the-air for me. It's a lifetime. In an age like this, you might expect that a person's viewpoint on life would change after 55 years. And mine did.

I started out as an artist, and a student of modern technologies, the sciences, etc. And now I am a Scientologist and a follower of the disclosure movement, exopolitics, ufology.

In my younger years, traditional technologies were under attack. They were being attacked for being ineffective, among other things. And that was their biggest weak point. Physics had developed nuclear energy and lasers. Electronics had developed radio, television, and computers. But what had the social technologies of politics, business management, economics, psychology, and education accomplished? They had fallen hopelessly behind.

Today some see the old social technologies as the glue holding society together, while others see them as largely worthless and irrelevant. My viewpoint leaned towards the idea of just throwing them all out. But I could see that they served an important purpose. They had to be repaired, but -- what was wrong with them?

For me, the work of L. Ron Hubbard held the most convincing answers.

Yet that work was being ignored by many who could benefit from it. I wanted to make it more accessible to those without the resources to make a full study of it themselves. The church, meanwhile, was asking me to join staff, and so I did. But this ended up taking me off my purpose of making the subject more accessible, and so I finally left staff to continue that work.

Life Force Designs is the name I have chosen for this work.

As of this writing (16 Nov 2009) the other pages on this site are all as they were when I wrote them earlier this year. I will be updating them over a period of time, as seems appropriate.

My first step in learning how to communicate what I had learned to a broader audience was to learn what discoveries and terminology were already in use and being written about or spoken about by others. This is the "data integration" step referred to in the original title of this site. It is still ongoing. But in these last few months I have learned much!

Let's review the basic integrative findings per LRH's research in developing Scientology:

Causation: spirit --> idea --> object.
In organizations this becomes: thetan, mind, body, product. This embodies the basic theory of organizing a group - an in-charge and three juniors.

Study, education, or learning primarily consists of a familiarization process.
To understand a subject well, one must be familiar with:
1) Its terminology, including common words and small words.
2) Its sequences (or gradients). What are the basics and how do you put the basics together in correct order to create more complex things, concepts, techniques.
3) Its masses. The spaces, tools, buildings, materials, other things involved in a subject.

Scientology resources:

These are not available on line in any great detail, though an amazing amount is available on line.
The basic resources were created to train auditors. These include, books, lectures, and compilations of "bulletins." They are all available to the public.
Some books and lectures are aimed specifically at introducing new people to the subject. See "beginning books" and "Congress lectures."

I am impressed by the "edutopia" site sponsored by Pixar Studios. It pushes a method called "integrated studies" and "technology integration" which

Human History - current state of earth science and technology

I find the data provided by "Billy" Meier to be the most far-reaching and in-depth contribution to this field. It is virtually impossible to verify, except through
auditing technology. But aspects of it have been verified, by chance, you might say, in Scientology. As of April 2009, FIGU thinks Scientology is a bad
thing, as is the "conventional wisdom" on the web. This data also seeks to verify itself via the predictions that are a part of it. Various important political

The subjects included in these documents include: Human ancient (off-earth) ancestry and genetic manipulations; atlantis, lemuria, their destruction and mt. shasta;
the yeti; sprirtual nature of people and knowledge; origin and qualities of energy and matter; construction of space ships; other (alien) races; other human civilizations;
the ozone hole; dangers of nuclear energy technologies; dangers of radio technologies; dangers of over-population; advanced technologies such as thought control
and bionic robots. This lists only the major ones I can think of. The source for this data integrates it using a concept they call "creation law." It is a little more rigid than
basic Scientology theory, and goes more deeply into genetic engineering and the phases of development of a planet. The history of their societies and how it crosses
with that of earth is fascinating.

Other sites related to this data are too numerous to mention, as they encompass the whole UFO phenomenon, plus the alien intervention theories, and current
advances in genetic engineering and brain-machine interfaces. They also include the development of modern weapons, but good data on this subject is difficult
to dig up on the web.

Conspiracy theories

LRH announced his own discovery of "the" conspiracy on this planet in September of 1967. This predates much other material pointing to the same basic groups.
Combined with Scientology data on human motivation, and FIGU data on genetic manipulation and the long history of alien presences on earth, the phenomenon
simplifies somewhat into what might be termed a long-term contagion of abberation. It basically just confirms the existance of a long history of criminalty on this planet,
which should be no surprise to anyone. It also identifies a relatively few persons as the "biggest" criminals. Predictably, secrecy plays a major part in the success
of these people on earth, and so would be a key, in my way of thining, to unravelling their plans. This is also covered by the "third party law" in Scientology.

The data, in works such as those at: http://www.terrorism-illuminati.com/ and in the "underground" pdf publication "Fire from the Sky": http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/hardtruth/fire1.htm is actually quite blood-curdling. It deserves an exposee on a grand scale,

The problem is, there is no simple way to make people who have gone bad suddenly become good again. So that leads us into tactics such as simply
talking so much about what they are doing that any fancied advantage they might gain from secrecy or surprise is totally canceled out. At first glance,
that's the only approach I can think of that might be effective in the short run.

Secular Applications

The most acclaimed and widely-known applicaitons of spiritual technologies to the secular world are embodied
by the ongoing programs of the Association for Better Living and Education (ABLE). See their web site. I cannot
begin to do this subject justice here.

The principle areas of application are:

Criminal rehabilitation. The program is called Criminon. Many prisons use it.

Secular moral code. This is called The Way To Happiness. It has been translated into 89 different languages.

Drug rehabilitation. The program is called Narconon. It has a very high success rate for such programs.

Educational reform - Applied Scholastics. The videos on their site concentrate on a pilot program at Prescott Middle School in Baton Rouge.

Business administration. The World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (WISE) operates several schools under the name
"Hubbard College of Administration" that teach this technology in college-credit courses.

Spiritual Technology

Although this term has been virtually usurped by what I would call the "traditional" spiritual approaches,
it is still the best phrase to describe any technology that is based on the idea that spiritual forces have
a potent, if not primary, causative role in life.

The "traditional" approaches often mention a spiritual "world" that exists separately from the physical
world we all live in. They tend to emphasize the personal benefits of developing one's own ability to
communicate with this world.

The research I have studied suggests a different view. For all practical purposes, the basic unit of life
today is the individual spiritual being. We experience these beings all the time - they are nothing more
than you, and me.

That we cannot normally see or touch these beings has helped keep this research out of the realm of
the material technologies for eons. However, this research indicates that spiritual beings are the true
source of all material objects and life forms. The beings came first, the idea of a game we now call "life"
came next, and the physical creation of it came after that, and in fact continues in small ways to this day.

Every situation, bad or good, that you have ever gotten yourself into can ultimately be traced to the
results of your own thoughts. Of course, beings have been sharing this game called life for a very long
time. And so their individual causations are intertwined - and not at all easy to separate - like a tangled
ball of yarn. Yet the basic mechanism is obvious in simple tasks like opening a bottle and drinking from
it. The point of this page is that this discovery is actually useful. It can be used to improve conditions
in life by using technologies that are based on it. Even the more esoteric "traditional" practices have
occasional amazing results. For me, this is because they are tapping into this same basic truths.

The technologies that have been given the most attention by the founder of Scientology are those
needed to achieve his aims - an increase in individual ability. The primary technology employed is
called "auditing". Read Dianetics (the 2007 edition) to find out why he called it that. Professionals
in auditing are called "auditors". Therefore, the technologies used the most in Scientology have to
do with auditing, the training of auditors, the administration of organizations that train auditors and
deliver auditing, the management of these organizations, and their protection and preservation.
It also, by the way, includes subjects like how to properly translate a book written in English to
another language, the basics of art and performance, the hiring and handling of personnel, and
other subjects involved in creating and managing an organization. The details of those technologies
are in the materials of Scientology. It would be of little benefit for me to try to describe them further.
You can study them using books and lectures that are available to the public (published by Bridge
Publications and New Era Publications). The proper place to train on any of these is a licensed
Scientology organization.

There are, however, secular uses for these technologies. That is briefly covered in the next page.

Speculative Sciences

It might seem like a contradiction in terms to call a line of scientific study "speculative".
But I see no better way to characterize two directions of research that are certainly hot
on TV, if not at the center of attention of people who would like to solve the more tangible
problems of everyday living. Those being: the search for extraterrestrial life
(did I spell that right?), and the search for the "origin" of life.

The scientists depicted in the TV shows about this work certainly seem to be agonizing
over these questions, as if the numerous answers made available by spiritual research
are not even known to them. It is as if this whole other area of human activity has been
totally written off, or totally avoided, by them. They are convinced that the material sciences
can solve this problem.

But the spiritiual research I have been studying suggests that this would be impossible.

As gone over in the page on Spiritual Technology, the finding is that the spiritual being is
first cause, or at least earlier cause. That the sequence is cause -> idea -> physical object.
These scientists are operating on the assumption that physical objects including "early" life
forms, came before the appearance of beings capable of intelligent thought. This is a highly
speculative assumption!

If you study the materials I have referred you to, you will see that the data on which most
spiritual technologies are based came from consulting human memory. This has been
challenged as "unscientific". Yet how could a scientist observe something, and remember
it long enough to write it down, without depending on human memory. It is a tool we all use
all the time for so many things that we totally take it for granted. But the idea that it in itself
is not a valid research tool is no more than somebody's opinion.

Realize that this research is not based on the memory of a single person. Similar, if not pratically
identical data about the long past has been retrieved from numerous persons. They are from
a wide variety of social and educational backgrounds and age groups. Most of them did not
know each other, and had never been coached or clued into what they might remember. It would
be extremely unwise to simply write this research off.

To very briefly review the major findings of spritiual research as regards the above-mentioned
lines of "serious" research:
1) Life and thought are capable of creating matter, and are the only forces capable of creating
it newly.
2) All the orderliness we see in the physical universe was created by sentient beings, and those
beings may still walk among us, now totally unaware of what they were once capable of creating.
3) Life goes back farther (or further) than anyone could easily count or measure. An informally-
agreed-upon figure for how long ago this universe began is 76 trillion years. During that time,
numerous societies on numerous planets, and even some not on planets as we know them, have
arisen, developed - often with extremely advanced technology - and then decayed or disappeared.
Possibly some of them never did totally disappear. Earth, for example, has been populated, wiped
out, and re-populated several times. An example in this solar system of an entirely de-populated
planet is the asteroid belt (once a planet). Another is Mars. Advanced societies had the capability
of destroying whole planets. Earlier on the track, beings were capable of creating them, too, along
with space, stars, gas clouds, and everything else. It is even postulated that there was once a
"time" when "time" as we know it had not even been generally agreed to yet, and different beings
or groups could play tricks on each other using "time".
4) Based on these findings, the endless speculation regarding life on other planets, visits from
outer space, etc., is just silly. It is thought that if our solar system were not so far "off the beaten
path" so to speak, that we would be much more aware of the presence of other intelligent societies
in the universe than we currently are. But there is absolutely no doubt that such exist and have
existed for longer than anyone could easily count.

To continue to wonder about these basic facts is a complete waste of time (my opinion).

These are some of the major findings of spiritual research. Is it possible we could now move on
to something more interesting?

Why "data integration"

When I was first thinking of creating a web site, that's the first name I thought of.

Little did I know at the time that this is also the name of a whole software technology.
But the two concepts, though different, are certainly related.
The main problem in integrating data for business or research purposes is that is exists
in different types of files, using different database management software, possibly using different words
to describe the same thing, and so forth. You want to provide the user with one interface that can
successfully access all these different sources of information.

My concept of "data integration" does not address the technical problems of accessing different
data sources, but the human and social problems of importances, relevance, trustworthiness, and
usefullness. These are basically decisions that each person, each group, has to make for themselves.

The main concern I want to address on this site is that each person, group or business that is offering
a solution seldom mentions in their own materials that other solutions also exist. We all know this to
be the case for almost any situation, yet each source of data tends to behave as if they are the source.

Thus, this is for starters a research site. For any given problem or situation, what is being done out there
to handle it? What are the more fundamental truths or assumptions being used by the various different
approaches? How effective are they?

Currently, I have limited time to work on this idea. So I am not "out there" trying to connect up with
people. If you do visit this site, I would for sure like to know that you did. But I am not in a position yet
to be intensly in communication. I am just learning how to use the services provided by wetpaint myself,
and I am in fact a relative newcomer to the web.

Do I have an agenda? After all, I am a Scientologist. I can say this:
I am not particularly interested in the money-making aspects of this particular subject.
I am particularly interested in people having access to all the data they need to address their issues.
I have, through my work in the church, received numerous reports of the workability of the various
technologies known collectively as "Scientology", yet see them rarely mentioned on the web or in the
media.
Thus, I am interested in making these technologies more broadly known, and their underlying data
taken more seriously, if only on the basis that these technologies do work in trained hands.

I have met many people who do not seem to even be aware that there is a situation on this planet
and that conditions are worsening. If you are such a person, I am not planning to present a lot of
data about that on this site. Many other sites are full of it. But if you are wondering why things seem
to be getting worse, or simply what can be, or is being, done about it, these are questions that I
intend to give top priority.

Of course I recommend all the Scientology sites. But they are not data integration sites, either.
However, I think if you take the trouble to visit these sites and really study them a bit, you will see
why the technologies or information presented on these sites should be taken seriously.
Especially if you feel that traditional approaches are not working for you, you owe it to yourself
to visit these sites.
